Building Description:

The Supreme Court Buildings (otherwise referred to as The Law Courts) on Lonsdale & Williams Streets are one of the architectural highlights of Melbourne and form an imposing structure.

Designed in the 'Academic Classical' tradition, this building features a spectacular dome which rests upon a base with a beautiful colonnade around it. The portico on the William Street entrance provides a grand entrance to this important building.
