Building Description:
The Commonwealth Law Courts accomodate all of the federal courts within Melbourne. The building was designed by Hassel Architects to an L-shaped floorplan which left room for a landscaped forecourt on a prominant Melbourne intersection.
The building features multiple horizontal layers of glazed floors with different blocks of various treatments. This giant complex houses the Melbourne branches of the Federal Magistrate's Court of Australia, Federal Court of Australia, High Court of Australia and the Family Court.
