The University Café neon sign is simple in design, and dates from the 1950's.
The sign is made of metal-box construction and is painted green. Neon lettering with a white shadow painted beneath spells out "UNIVERSITY" whilst another of neon over the top spells "CAFE". The sign is animated.
The University Café is in good condition, full working order and is regularly illuminated at night.
