Quarry Hotel
101 Lygon Street, East Brunswick, 3057
The Quarry Hotel's neon sign was installed in 2003.
The double-sided Quarry Hotel neon sign sits above a pediment on the hotel, and features trough-lettering which spells "QUARRY" vertically. Of particular note with this sign is the plastic-trough lettering, which is coloured orange. Typically such letter-troughs are metallic. Linking the two sides of the sign are a series of blue neon tubes, arched in a semi-circle for the length of the sign. At the base, orange neon spells out "HOTEL".
The sign has suffered some weather damage, but is mostly functional and regularly illuminated. The manufacturer of the sign is unknown.
