Evan Evan's
680 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, 3000.
The Evan Evans vertical-fin neon sign hangs over the footpath at the former premises of the flag manufacturer.
The sign is 5 metres long and painted blue with unprotected neon lettering which spells "EVANS,". The sign's age is uncertain, and it cannot be determined if the sign was animated or not. The Evan Evan's sign was probably manufactured by Claude Neon some time in the 1950's or 1960's.
It is believed that the sign is still in full working order, but because the business has relocated, the sign is no longer illuminated.
