I get a lot of questions from people who visit this site which is fantastic, however to save both you and I time, some of the more popular questions and their answers appear below:

1. DO YOU WORK IN THE RADIO INDUSTRY?
Short answer - no. Long answer - no.

2. CAN YOU INCLUDE MY STATION'S DETAILS?
Of course! But your service must be Australian and you must stream online for free. If you do not offer streaming, your station cannot be listed at this time.

3. CAN YOU UPDATE MY STATION'S DETAILS?
Certainly! If you find an error, or your station has changed frequency or there is something else I should know, please let me know!

4. WHY DID YOU CREATE THIS SITE?
Because back in 2001 there was not a comprehensive site on the internet of all the Australian stations which broadcast on the internet. This is still largely the case today, and I thought it would be a great service for the radio listening public! Judging from the heavy site traffic, I think I am right. If you want to let me know what you think of the site, please contact me!

5. CAN YOU PASS ON A MESSAGE TO <INSERT PERSON'S NAME> OF STATION <INSERT STATION NAME> PLEASE?
No. I don't know anyone in the radio industry so I cannot pass on messages. Try contacting the person or station directly. 

6. HELP! STATION WHATEVER IS NO LONGER STREAMING. CAN YOU FIX IT?
If a station on this site is not marked and the stream is not working, please contact me and let me know. My link may need updating, or the station may have gone offline. Additionally, you may have problems with your computer settings, so please try the 'How to Tune In' tutorial. 

If a station is marked "offline", then it is offline and I can do nothing to fix it. Try contacting the station directly. 

7. CAN I ADVERTISE ON <INTERT NAME OF STATION>? WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
See Question 1 above, and contact the station directly.

8. CAN YOU HELP MY RADIO STATION RUN A STREAMING SERVICE ONLINE?
No, I cannot. You need to contact a streaming services provider, such as StreamX, Internet Broadcasters, StreamAce or WebCentral.

9. WILL YOU PROMOTE MY COMMERCIAL ONLINE RADIO SERVICE?
If listeners can tune in for free on their computers - certainly! If they have to pay before listening, then I am sorry but the answer is 'no'. 

10. WILL YOU TRADE LINKS?
This depends on whether I like your site or not, and whether it is relevant. By all means ask! You can contact me here. If you run an Australian terrestrial radio station and you have online streaming, then I'd love to add you to the online database!
